WHOLE WHEAT QUICK BREAD | |
2 c. whole wheat flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 beaten egg 1 3/4 c. buttermilk 1/4 c. honey 1/4 c. butter, melted 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. raisins In bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt. Combine egg, buttermilk, honey and butter. Add to dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened. Fold in nuts and raisins. Put in loaf pan and bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove and cool thoroughly. |
