BISHOP'S BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sm. date pieces
1 c. maraschino cherries, drained & sliced
2 c. chopped walnuts
6 oz. chocolate pieces

1. Lightly grease loaf pan. Line bottom and sides of pan with cut out wax paper.

2. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together.

3. Beat eggs and sugar together until mixture is thick and piled softly.

4. Add dry ingredients in thirds to egg mixture beating only until blended after each addition.

5. Stir in fruits, nuts and chocolate pieces.

6. Pour into pan, spreading it evenly.

7. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

8. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes, remove from pan by flipping over and then remove the wax paper.
