PUMPKIN PIE CAKE | |
1 lg. can pumpkin 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk 3 eggs 4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (or 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. ground cloves, 1 tsp. nutmeg, 1/2 tsp. ginger may be used instead of pumpkin pie spice) 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. sugar 1 yellow cake mix 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans 1 1/2 cubes butter, melted Whipped cream Blend all ingredients except cake mix, nuts and butter. Pour into lightly greased 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix and nuts over top. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or bake at 350 degrees for the first 35 minutes and lower heat to 325 degrees for the next 15-20 minutes. Serve with whipped cream. |
