VEGETABLE SOUP 
Package short ribs or beef brisket
1 lg. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 1/2 c. cabbage
1 lg. can tomatoes
3 med or 2 lg. onions
Celery
1/2 c. catsup
Salt, pepper

Cook meat, onions, celery, salt in water (enough to cover meat) until meat is done (about 1 hour). Add frozen vegetables, cabbage and tomatoes. Add catsup. Take meat out; cut into bite size pieces; return to pan. Add salt and pepper to taste. Can also add sugar for taste.
