CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. meringue
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
24 candied cherries

Melt chips and butter about 2 minutes. Stir in milk. Add sugar gradually until chocolate is smooth but thick. Dip cherries, 6 at a time, in chocolate (evenly coated). Place on wax paper. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Makes 24. Store in air-tight container for as long as 1 week in refrigerator.
