HOLIDAY FROZEN SALAD 
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. fruit juice
1/2 c. butter
1/8 c. sugar
1/16 tsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 c. pineapple chunks
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
miniature marshmallows
8 maraschino cherries
1/2 pt. whipped cream

In a double boiler, combine juice with flour to make a paste. Stir in butter, sugar and salt.

Cook, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Stir in the slightly beaten egg and cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

Let cool and add fruit, nuts and marshmallows. Fold in whipped cream.

Freeze until needed, thawing at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
