SCALLOPED POTATOES & GROUND BEEF 
1/2 lb. ground beef
5 to 6 med. potatoes
1 med. onion
3 to 4 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
Salt to taste

Peel potatoes and cook until tender. Brown ground beef with onion. Add the milk and cheese. When the cheese has melted mix the cornstarch with a little milk and add to milk mixture to thicken. Add the potatoes and bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or in microwave for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
