BUTTERSCOTCH SCOTCHIES 
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter flavored vegetable shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. water
3 c. quick old fashioned oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestles butterscotch morsels

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. In large bowl beat shortening, sugar and eggs until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture and water. Stir in oats and butterscotch morsels.

Spread dough in greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake 18-22 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cool completely. Cut into 2 inch squares. Makes about 35 cookies.
