DOUBLE CHEESE HAMBURGER AND NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. butter (optional) 1 clove garlic (optional) 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can tomato sauce 4 oz. med. noodles 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. sour cream 6 green onions, thin slices 2/3 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded Brown meat lightly in butter in skillet, breaking it up with a fork. Add optional items and next 6 ingredients, bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Cook noodles until just tender, and drain. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and green onions. In a greased shallow 2-quart baking dish, put a layer of half of the noodles. Spread with half the cream cheese mixture. Then cover with half the meat mixture. Repeat layers and top with Cheddar cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
