CREAMED PEAS AND MUSHROOMS 
2 pkgs. (10 oz. each) frozen green peas
2/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
2 1/2 oz. jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/8 tsp. whole thyme (crushed)
1 tsp. lemon juice

Place frozen peas in the salted water. Bring to quick boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add mushroom soup, mushrooms, thyme and lemon juice. Blend well. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes. Serves 7 to 8 people.
