To make a larger batch, add a bag of COLORED marshmellows. However, don't buy the store brand... spend a few more cents for the good stuff!

I love this salad & make it quite often. I like orange jello with mandarin oranges the best! Also, Peach jello with cut up canned peaches is good too!

My family has been making this since in the middle '50s. one of my nephews calls it "Ice Cream Salad" Most of the rest of us call it Pink Salad. We always have a double recipe for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I always make this w/Jell-o pistachio pudding mix, the Cool whip, the can of pineapple and Angel Flake shredded cocoanut. Most excellent after an hour or so in the frige to let the flavors blend...

I have also made this with cherry or strawberry jello. You can add different fruits, fruit cocktail is good too, and I add marshmallows.

My Grandmother taught me this recipe years ago, it was always a favorite for dessert when we went to her house. I've made several times for potlucks and I never bring any home.
