HOLIDAY SWEET POTATO BAKE 
1 lg. can sweet potatoes
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. orange juice
1/4 c. seedless raisins
1/4 c. butter
3 tbsp. cooking sherry
2 tbsp. chopped walnuts

Drain potatoes and cut in half lengthwise. Arrange in a greased, shallow baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch. Blend in orange juice and add raisins. Stir while bringing syrup to a boil. Add remaining ingredients and pour over the potatoes. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until potatoes are well glazed. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
