RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 
1 c. lard
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour, approx.

Mix all ingredients together. Roll and cut. Place filling between to pieces of dough.

FILLING:

1 box raisins
1 c. brown sugar

Boil raisins and sugar together in water to cover for 5 minutes. Thicken with 1 heaping tablespoon flour. The secret to making these delicious cookies is use only lard and brown sugar. Mix by using wooden spoon. Never use the electric mixer.
