1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. mincemeat
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nutmeats

Mix shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Mix together salt, flour, baking soda and vanilla. Fold in mincemeat and nutmeats. Drop by spoon on cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
