3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 box dry mincemeat, crumbled
1 c. shortening, butter flavored Crisco
3 eggs, well beaten

Cream shortening, sugar. Add eggs and beat together. Add crumbled mincemeat, flour and soda, and mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with a nice hot cup of spiced tea.
