COUNTRY CHICKEN & BISCUITS 
1/2 jar Hormel bacon bits/pieces
2 1/2 c. chicken, cooked and cubed
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 can cream of chicken soup (condensed)
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. Bisquick (or Jiffy mix)
2/3 c. milk
1 (2.8 oz) can Durkee French fried onions

In a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, combine chicken, bacon, vegetables and 1 cup cheese. Blend soup and the milk and pour over casserole.

Bake covered at 400°F for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix, milk and 1/2 can of onions. Mix thoroughly and drop by spoonfuls to form biscuits around the edge of the casserole.

Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Top with remaining cheese and onions.

Bake 2-3 minutes until onions are toasted.

Makes 6-8 servings.
