OVEN BAKED CHICKEN AND BISCUITS 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. paprika

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix above ingredients in a paper bag. Place 1/2 cup shortening (half butter) in 13"x9" oblong pan and set in oven to melt. Shake 3 or 4 pieces of chicken at a time in bag to coat thoroughly. Place chicken, skin sides down in single layer in hot shortening. Bake 45 minutes. Then turn. Meanwhile, make dough for biscuits. Roll dough 1/4", cut into biscuits. Drain No. 2 1/2 can cling peach halves and place a whole clove in each.

Push chicken to one end in pan; place biscuits in single layer on other end. Place pecan halves on top of chicken. Bake another 15 minutes, or until biscuits lightly browned and chicken tender.

To Make Gravy: Remove chicken, peaches, biscuits and biscuits to serving platter and add 2 tablespoons flour, saved from (dredgings) to drippings in pan. Bring to boil and add about 1 1/2 cups hot milk. Boil 1 minute. 4 servings.
