SUTRO WALNUT COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
2 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter with brown sugar and white sugar. Stir soda with egg until dissolved. Add egg to mixture slowly. Add flour, salt and cinnamon gradually to mixture. Add vanilla and walnuts. Spread mixture in 7 x 11 inch pan foiled lined. Freeze (chill thoroughly). Cut into bars. Bake 375 degrees 10 minutes.
