SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1 pt. fresh oysters
2 c. medium coarse saltine cracker crumbs (46 crackers)
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
3/4 c. light cream
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Drain oysters, reserving 1/4 cup liquor. Combine crumbs and melted butter. Set aside 1/2 cup buttered crumbs. Combine remaining crumbs with drained oysters, the 1/4 cup liquor, mushrooms, cream and the Worcestershire. Turn into 8 1/4 x 1 3/4 inch round baking dish. Top with reserved crumbs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes. Garnish top with pimento and green pepper, if desired. Makes 8 servings.
