2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
1/4 c. orange juice
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. uncooked apples, chopped fine
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix in order given. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours in a tube pan.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 stick butter
1/2 c. buttermilk

Mix ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over hot cake while cake is in the pan. Let stand between 1/2 and 1 hour.
