CORNBREAD SALAD 
2 pkgs. cornbread mix
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. mayonnaise
8 slices bacon
1 sm. green pepper, chopped

Cook bread as directed, cool. Crumble in large bowl. Add onions, pepper and bacon which was fried crisp. Mix in mayonnaise. Chill. Tomatoes (chopped) may be added before serving, but will make any salad leftover soggy.
