RUSSIAN TEA COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 scant tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. shortening (butter)
3/4 c. nuts

Form in size of walnuts. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Roll in powdered sugar. Can use dates instead of walnuts.
