1 c. shortening
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. sifted flour
2 drops green food coloring

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening, cream cheese and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy. Blend in vanilla. Add flour gradually mixing until blended. Tint with food coloring.

Fill cooking press fitted with #2 star plate. Hold at 45 degree angle. Pipe dough into circles on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool on wire rack. Decorate with frosting leaves and red cinnamon candies. Yield: 4 dozen.
