SUNMAID RAISIN OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. raisins, plumped
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 2/3 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1 tsp. cinnamon

Plump raisins by putting in cup of water and microwave a minute or two. Drain raisins. Cream shortening with sugar; then add beaten eggs and milk. Combine with oatmeal, raisins, and mix well. Add flour and cinnamon. Beat well. Drop onto greased pans and bake about 12 minutes at 350 to 375 degrees. Makes 3 dozen medium size cookies.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
