CRUST:

1 stick butter (melt in 13 x 9 inch pan)
1 c. flour
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown or bubbly.

FIRST LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

SECOND LAYER:

2 sm. pkgs. Jello chocolate instant pudding, as pie filling
3 c. cold milk
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Prepare Jello instant pudding with 3 cups cold milk. Top with Cool Whip. Garnish with nuts, chocolate bits.

CRUST DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Place stick of butter in glass 13 x 9 inch pan. Melt butter. Remove from oven. Sprinkle 1 cup flour evenly over butter. Top with 1 cup walnuts. Return to 350 degree oven, bake crust for 15 minutes. Let crust cool before you proceed with the layers.
