CHILI RELLENO PIE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. each Monterey Jack & sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. half & half
1 tbsp. flour
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (7 oz.) can green chilies

Brown meat with pepper, onion, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Seed chili peppers and spread on bottom of greased baking dish. Cover with browned meat mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheeses. Combine eggs, cream and flour. Pour over top. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Pour tomato sauce over and bake 10 minutes longer. A 9"x13" pan serves 6 to 8.
