FROSTED DEVIL FOOD DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (1 oz.) sqs. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in chocolate. Sift together dry ingredients add to chocolate mixture alternately with sour cream. Mix well. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart, on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until done. Remove from cookie sheet, cool and frost.

FROSTING:

1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
Dash of salt
3 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, cocoa and salt. Slowly cream 1 cup powdered sugar. Add remaining 2 cups sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat smooth.
