4 cooked sweet potatoes
1 egg
2 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. salt

Mash potatoes. Beat in egg, salt and flour. Stir in raisins and mix well. Melt shortening in skillet and put sweet potato mixture by teaspoon in heated skillet. Brown on both sides. Serve hot.
