EASY GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix
3 lg. eggs
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 1/4 c. water
1 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1 can (3 1/2 oz.) flaked coconut
1/4 c. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Combine dry cake mix, eggs, oil and water in large mixer bowl. Mix cake as directed on package. Stir in 1/2 cup nuts. Turn batter into pan and spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan or rack.

For topping, combine butter, brown sugar, coconut, milk and remaining 1/2 cup nuts. Spread evenly over cooled cake. Place under broiler and broil 2 to 3 minutes until bubbly.
