STRAWBERRY PRESERVE | |
5 c. berries 6 c. sugar Wash berries in cold water. Pour sugar over them and let stand 24 hours. Bring to boil over low heat. When berries come rolling boil, cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 24 hours. Pack cold in sterilized jar and cover with paraffin wax. The berries will be plump and syrup thick if made in this quantity. |
