1 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. sifted flour 1/4 c. cocoa 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. finely chopped pecans Confectioners' sugar Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla together until fluffy. Sift flour, cocoa, and salt together. Add to creamed mixture, blending thoroughly. Add pecans and mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake approximately 20 minutes; do not brown. Cool, then roll in confectioners' sugar. Yields: about 6 dozen cookies. |
