APPLE SALAD 
1/3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 pint whipping cream (unwhipped)
1/2 stick butter
6 apples, diced with peeling
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts

In large heavy boiler combine flour, sugar, pineapple, and whipping cream. Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add butter, stir until melted. Refrigerate until cool. Fold apples, raisins, and nuts into flour-pineapple mixture. Chill 3 hours.
