PRUNE BREAD 
1 c. raw prunes
1 c. boiling water
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
3 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts

Pour boiling water over cut up prunes and let stand for 2 hours. Mix dry ingredients together. Add prune mixture and remaining ingredients. Blend thoroughly for 1 minute and then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
