STUFFED CABBAGE 
2 heads cabbage
1 onion
1 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
3 sm. cans tomato sauce
1 c. lemon juice or to taste
3 peeled apples
2 lbs. chopped meat
1 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
3 beaten eggs
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Use for filling.

Boil pot of water; use to soften cabbage leaves. Prepare sauce: Chop onions and brown in oil. Add sugar, tomato sauce, lemon, apples (chopped). Bring to boil and then simmer while preparing meat filling.

Prepare meat filling: Combine chopped meat (uncooked), bread crumbs, beaten eggs, mustard, soy sauce and Worcestershire.

Take cabbage leaves; stuff each one with 2 tablespoons of meat filling and fold. May need to use toothpicks. Put each stuffed cabbage into sauce. Can shred remaining cabbage and add to sauce. Cook for 1 hour. Freezes well.
