CONNECTICUT BEEF SUPPER 
2 lb. cubed round steak, browned
1 lg. onion, diced
1 c. water
4-5 lg. potatoes, thinly sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. sour cream
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. crushed Wheaties

Cook meat and onion until brown. Add water and heat to boiling. Decrease heat; simmer for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour meat mixture into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Arrange potato slices on meat. Stir soup, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper together and pour over potatoes.

Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours. Sprinkle crushed Wheaties and cheese over potatoes. Heat for additional 1/2 hour.
