BUTTERY CINNAMON SKILLET APPLES | |
4 med. apples 1/3 c. butter 1/2 - 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 1/2 c. water 1/4 -1/2 tsp. cinnamon Cut apples in half and core. In skillet melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar and cornstarch; mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over medium heat, spooning sauce over apples occasionally until apples are fork tender and sauce is thickened, 12 to 15 minutes. (These can be cooked in a crock pot.) |
