APPLE CRISP PIE 
4 c. peeled & sliced apples (4 to 5 apples)
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten lightly
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. melted butter

Place apples in buttered 9 inch pie plate. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Spoon over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, until lightly browned. Serve with ice cream or heavy cream.
