ANISE CANDY 
3 c. sugar
2 c. syrup
1 c. hot water

Cook until hard crack. Add food color and flavoring. Take a glass of water and when the candy mixture hits the water it should form up right away and crack. Then it is done. Add flavoring and color. Butter a 9 x 13 inch pan. Let set until hard and break out of pan.
