HARD CANDY 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo light syrup
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. flavoring oil

Combine sugar and water in saucepan, stirring constantly. Bring to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cook to hard crack stage (300 degrees). Remove from heat. Add flavoring and coloring. Pour on cookie sheet. When hard, crack or break into little pieces. Cover pieces with powdered sugar.
