MISSISSIPPI MUD 
1 1/2 c. of flour (all-purpose)
1 1/2 c. of walnuts (sm. pieces), or pecans (I prefer walnuts)
1 1/2 c. butter, softened almost to melting point

Mix together and spread on a 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees or until lightly browned.

Prepare 1 large package of vanilla instant pudding according to directions, set aside.

Prepare 1 large package of chocolate instant pudding according to directions, set aside.

1 pkg. (16 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. Cool Whip (save rest of Cool Whip)

1. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese mixture on top of crust.

2. Spread a layer of chocolate instant pudding on top of cream cheese mixture.

3. Spread a layer of vanilla instant pudding on top of chocolate pudding.

4. Top with remaining cream cheese mixture. Add Cool Whip if more is needed.

5. Top with walnut halves.
