BROCCOLI CHEESE NOODLE SOUP 
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. butter
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
4 c. fine noodles
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
4 c. milk
1 lb. Velveeta or similar cheese (can use Old English if preferred)

Brown onion in butter. Add water and bouillon cubes and boil until dissolved. Add noodles, garlic powder and mustard. Add broccoli and cook until thawed. Add milk and cheese; stir until dissolved.
