APPLE DAPPLE CAKE 
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix eggs, oil and sugar; blend well. Add flour, salt, and soda; mix well. Add vanilla, apples and nuts. Pour into an 8 or 9 inch tube pan (springform pan works best). Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. While cake is still hot, pour following hot topping over it.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk

Cook for 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over hot cake. Let set until cold. Remove from pan.
