APPLE - DAPPLE CAKE 
3 c. raw diced apples
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar and oil. Add the 3 eggs. Sift all the dry ingredients together and add to cream mixture. Thoroughly blend and add apples, nuts and vanilla. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and add topping.

TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sweet milk

Combine and boil 3 minutes. Pour over top of cake.
