BUTTERCREAM FROSTING 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Cream the butter and the vegetable shortening. Mix in the vanilla and add the confectioners' sugar. Beating well, (use an electric hand mixer). Next, add evaporated milk. Then continue to beat. Whip until fluffy. Frosting is ready to use.
