BUTTERCREAM FROSTING 
2 lbs. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
6-8 tbsp. milk or water
1/2 stick butter
3 dashes salt
1 c. Crisco

Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat well after all ingredients are blended until the frosting is the consistency of whipped cream. You may want to add a little more powdered sugar if you are making roses for the decoration.
