KRAUT BURGERS 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (22 oz.) jar sauerkraut
1 can chopped stewed tomatoes
5 loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
1 lb. cheese of your choice

Brown ground beef, add onion, sauerkraut, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese, simmer until all ingredients are heated and cheese is melted. Take dough and tear off a piece big enough to pat or roll out, then fill with meat mixture. (These should look like the size of a regular hamburger.) Pull dough together and pinch at top. Bake at 350 degrees until dough is brown.

Makes 2 to 3 dozen kraut burgers. These freeze well and make a handy meal for busy nights.
