LAURA'S CHILI SAUCE 
24 ripe tomatoes, peeled & chopped
10 med. onions, peeled & chopped
4 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. each nutmeg, allspice & ground cloves
1 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
6 green peppers, chopped
5 c. vinegar
2 1/2 c. sugar (or to taste)

Boil all together until thoroughly done and thick (about 2 to 3 hours), stirring occasionally. Seal while hot in sterilized jars. To keep any length of time, process 15 minutes in water bath.
