SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda (baking)
1 c. Crisco
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Add soda to sour cream and let stand. In a large bowl cream together Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and sour cream alternately. Add flavoring and lemon juice. Bake 1 1/4 hours at 325 degrees.
