CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS OR CAKE 
1 box Devils food cake mix
1 (21 oz.) cherry pie filling (can)
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

In small pan mix sugar, butter and milk. Heat to boiling. Boil 1 minute, stirring. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over slightly warm cake or bars.

Cake: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan (for bars) or a 9 x 13 inch pan (for cake). In large bowl combine all ingredients and blend well with a spoon. Pour into pan and bake 15 x 10 inch pan for 20-30 minutes. 9 x 13 inch pan for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
