BANANA VELVET DESSERT | |
1 1/3 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter 6 bananas, sliced 1/4 c. half and half 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix brown sugar, half and half and butter in small saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thick. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Arrange bananas in separate parfait glasses or in a dessert serving dish. Pour mixture over bananas and cool. Top with whipped topping and or any type of berry or fruit. Chill before serving. Can use 1 cup dairy sour cream with 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar in place of whipped topping. |
